Lakshmy Ramakrishnan in talks with Ashok Selvan and Priya Anand

Actor-filmmaker Lakshmy Ramakrishnan has revealed that she is working on a script based on the experiences of people who were reeling under the aftermath of unprecedented floods that battered Chennai last year. “The story will be about the aftermath of the incident on an emotional level. I want to explore the humanistic angle. I could have roped in a star and made this a heroic story, and in order to do that I didn’t want to exploit the natural disaster angle,” says Lakshmy.

Lakshmy is in talks with Ashok Selvan, Priya Anand and Nassar to play important roles in the film. She has also approached Vijay Sethupathi for the film. The project is expected to roll out soon and flood scenes will be canned during the monsoon later this year to make it authentic.
