Lakshmi Ramakrishnan’s next will feature two heroes

Actor-director Lakshmi Ramakrishnan rose to fame as a character artist in Mysskin’s Yudham Sei before wielding the megaphone for her debut film Aarohanam, which was raved by critics. Now, she has completed her next film Nerungi Vaa Muthamidathe, a road movie featuring Piaa Baajpai, Shabeer and Sruthi Hariharan in lead roles. The film is eyeing for a release on either November 7 or November 14, two weeks after the euphoria for much-anticipated Diwali releases subdues.

Meanwhile, she is on the look-out for a high-profile actor to cast in her next film, which is a two-hero subject. “Unlike my previous flicks, I’m looking for an A-list hero this time to suit the requisites of my script. It’s a ‘two hero’ movie and would touch upon a plot quite different from my previous one,” says Lakshmi to a daily.
