KV Anand’s protege to direct Bobby Simha – Nikki Galrani
Looks like 2015 is a year to reckon for Bobby Simha, who made heads turns with the Assault Sethu role in Karthik Subbaraj’s Jigarthanda. He already has three projects as the lead hero – Urumeen helmed by Sakthivel Perumalsamy, Paambhu Sattai directed by Adam Dasan and Chennai Ungalai Anbudan Varaverkirathu with debutant filmmker Maruthupandiyan. While Urumeen and CUAV are under various stages of post-production, Paambhu Sattai is currently under progress.
The latest update is Simha has signed yet another film as the lead hero. Directed by Sharath, a former associate of KV Anand, this yet-untitled film will have Nikki Galrani of Darling fame as the female lead. The film is likely to go on the floors in March and will be shot in Chennai and Pondicherry.
