Written by Arunraja Kamaraj, the song is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, who earlier composed the music for Vijay’s Kaththi directed by AR Murugadoss. The song’s lyric video has been conceptualized by director Lokesh Kanagaraj’s associate director Logi, who has come into the spotlight on Twitter thanks to Aadai and Meyaadha Maan filmmaker Rathna Kumar.
