Vijay Antony – Arjun starrer Kolaigaran has topped the Chennai city box office in its opening weekend, with a three-day collections edging the 1 crore mark. The film opened to highly positive reviews on day one, and has been on an upward trend at the box office.
Despite the India vs Australia game last night, Kolaigaran has done well with many theatres adding multiple shows for Sunday, making great use of the weekend. In a summer that was comparatively low-lying, Kolaigaran has come as a whiff of fresh air, giving the audiences a film that challenges their IQ and thrills them well.
