Vijay Antony’s Kolai is set to hit the screens on the 21st of July, and coming after a blockbuster like Pichaikkaran 2, the team is elated to bring out a murder mystery thriller which is entirely different from the actor’s last release. In a recent interaction with us, director Balaji Kumar ruled out the comparisons to Knives Out and Glass Onion, which are being spoken about by audiences who watched the trailer of Kolai.
“I am very happy that it is being compared. Kolai and Knives Out are like two different shirts. They both have seven buttons and a collar, but otherwise, they are entirely different from each other. When you watch the film, you will know there is no similarity between the two,” said the director. Balaji also said that Kolai will be an entirely different visual experience for the audiences, who have got used to a specific type of murder mysteries in the recent past.
