The makers of Kochadaiiyaan are planning for a mega release in Japan, an overseas market which is exclusive to Rajinikanth. A paradigm shift for Tamil film industry happened after the release of Rajinikanth’s KS Ravikumar directorial Muthu in Japan and then all films of superstar have been waited by Japanese with bated breath.
An official press note from the Kochadaiiyaan team said, “There is a screening of Kochadaiiyaan planned for British film institute in London which will happen by the end of this month. Kochadaiiyaan has been invited to almost all the festivals all over the world. The producers are planning a mega release in Japan shortly. There is a growing demand for the sequel to Kochadaiiyaan and the producers are seriously considering it.”
In its third week, the film is running in nearly 350 screens all over South India. “In US, a leading Hollywood special effects studio watched the film and were amazed that this film was made in India. In US the audiences gave standing ovation after watching the film,” the press note added.
