OFFICIAL: Kochadaiiyaan to have a grand release on May 9

Looks like the Kochadaiiyaan team has finally locked a release date for the film after pondering for a long time. Since a Rajinkanth film also comes with huge business potential in the market, the producers have been wary to take risk and always been calculative over finalizing a release date. The mega-budgeted flick will be released worldwide on May 9th. The film has been certified with a clean U.

Kochadaiiyaan will be released in over 3850 screens across the globe and the team is keen to add more screens in the near future. It will be released simultaneously in 9 languages including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi and Punjabi. All newspapers will carry official release date with Kochadaiiyaan banners starting this Friday. Kochadaiiyaan is boasted to be India’s first photo realistic motion capture picture. It features Rajinikanth, Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Shobana and Aadhi in pivotal roles. Produced by Media One and distributed by Eros International, the film is directed by Soundarya Rajinikanth. It has music by Oscar winning composer AR Rahman.
