Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi’s special music video on transgenders

After her successful debut in Vanakkam Chennai, Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi has turned her vision towards the struggles of transgenders and their society. With the backup of ‘Lyca Productions’, she has directed a music video titled Sadhayai Meeri which was launched two days back by director Pandiraj. Composed by Santhosh Narayanan and penned by Vivek Velmurugan, Sadhayai Meeri has been captured by DOP Balasubramaniam and edited by Lawrence Kishore. 

“This is really a very sensitive issue of our society which has gone unnoticed for decades. All they ask is love and dignified social recognition. ‘Neglect’ is a worst punishment to any human being and here we are endorsing to share our love with them on this Valentine’s Day. Sadhayai Meeri stars 12 transgenders and is the first step to spread our love to them,” says Kiruthiga in an official statement.
