Khushbu Sundar likely to play a pivotal role in Rajinikanth – Ranjith’s next project

Veteran actress Khushbu is likely to play an important role in Rajinikanth’s next project with director Pa. Ranjith. Khusbu made her acting debut in the year 1988 in the Rajinikanth, Prabhu-starrer Dharmathin Thalaivan and went on to act with Superstar in films such as Annamalai, Mannan and Pandiyan. 

The project, which will be produced by Dhanush’s Wunderbar Films, is currently in the final stages of pre production. Ranjith has already denied rumors that Deepika Padukone is being considered for the leading lady role. Meanwhile, Vidya Balan had said, “We will know in a while,” when asked about the project last week at an event in Mumbai. Sources say the film will go on floors in June or July.
