KGF2 faces extraordinary demand in TN, helped by overnight shows

Yash’s KGF2 has become the big surprise package of the Tamil New Year season. The film has already grossed more than 15 crores in Tamil Nadu (in 2 days), and is setting the box office on fire with heavy demand throughout the state. Day 2 gross of KGF 2 in TN is said to be higher than Day 1 (7+Cr) and is expected to go on in this pace till Sunday. In order to accommodate the showtimes for the film, midnight shows and early morning special shows are being added.

KGF2 is having an unprecedented demand as the pressure for tickets is now making exhibitors scratch their heads on how they will be charting out their schedules. As most theatres have already signed 4-show agreements for Beast, it will be interesting to see how KGF2 manages to fly higher over the coming days.

Meanwhile, Superstar Rajinikanth watched KGF 2 in Chennai on April 14th and appreciated the team. He called Hombale Founder Vijay Kiragandur and mentioned their excellent work in detail, over a phone call.
