‘Kayal’ Anandhi is a huge fan of Dhanush

Prabhu Solomon’s Tsunami drama, Kayal is all set for a Christmas release to mark the tenth year anniversary of Tsunami disaster. Anandhi, who plays the titular role in the film, reveals why Prabhu Solomon picked her for the role. “My eyes must have been why Prabhu sir selected me for the role. The script had always been written with that name and perhaps my eyes suited his image of the character,” says Anandhi.

Anandhi is currently acting alongside Attakathi Dinesh in Visaranai directed by Vetrimaaran. “It was while I was shooting for Poriyalan Vetrimaaran first met me. It was around that time I watched Aadukalam. I was already a huge fan of Dhanush and after watching it I became a fan of Vetri Maaran sir. To begin my career working with Prabhu Solomon and Vetri Maaran – what more could I have asked for?,” overwhelms Anandhi.
