Kaththi: Vijay’s biggest hit in Karnataka

Thanks to the rigorous marketing of Fox Star Studios, Vijay’s expanding market and AR Murugadoss’s pan-Indian appeal, the masses in Karnatka have lapped up Kaththi like never before. It has already surpassed Vijay’s Thuppakki box-office record in the state. Kaththi has grossed over 8 crores in just nine days and the film is still is running with good occupancy rate across theaters.

The film is inching towards hitting the 100-crore mark real soon towards this week. Meanwhile, Vijay is reportedly on a holiday break to London and will kickstart his next film with Chimbudevan from November 10th.
