Kaththi: Vijay 58 producer promises tremendous opening in Kerala

That Vijay has an extra-ordinary fan following in Kerala is a well-known fact. Now, the latest buzz is that Thameens, one of the producers of Vijay’s upcoming film with Chimbudevan –Vijay 58 and also a regular distributor of Vijay films in Kerala, has booked nearly 200 screens across the state. Trade sources say Thameens has signed up many theaters on impressive terms and the business for the film is red-hot with only three weeks to go for release.

Meanwhile, the promotional works are already underway with the makers releasing an interactive 3D game based on the film. Also, the trailer is likely to be unveiled in a week, says a reliable source in the know. Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who expected a big breakthrough in Suriya’s Anjaan, is banking on Kaththi big-time to give her the much-needed break in Tamil cinema to break all the jinx she’s been associated with.
