Vijay – AR Murugadoss combo is all set to collect humongous figures at the box-office thanks to the massive bookings across the globe for the film. The film will be setting a benchmark in the UK (70 screens) and MM Media, who has snapped the rights for the USA is looking forward to beat Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan record (104 screens) by releasing the film in 105 screens for Diwali. Kaththi is also the first south Indian film to release in more than 120 Screens in Malaysia, 24 Screens in France and 20 screens in Canada.
Meanwhile, back home in Tamil Nadu, it has created record with 80 screens booked in Coimbatore and 45 screens in Trichy and Tanjore area. The film is also poised for a grand release in Kerala where Vijay has a dominant foothold with 200 plus screens under Thameens, the producer of Vijay 58. And, the exact screen count for Telugu under Tagore Madhu and Kannada under Goldie Films is expected soon.
