Kaththi: Judge issues final verdict

There have been a lot of legal troubles for Vijay – Murugadoss’s Kaththi citing allegations that the film’s producer Subaskaran of Lyca Productions has business ties with Sri Lankan President Mahinde Rajapakse. Now, the high court in Madurai branch has issued its final verdict. The judge has told that the film cannot be banned since the censor certificate has been already issued and court will not further interfere in this issue.

While pro-Tamil groups are still of the opinion that the film should not come under Lyca Productions, this verdict will send positive signals to the makers. Kaththi is poised for a huge release across the globe on October 22nd, 2014.
