Kaththi: 1000 screens in India, 500 screens abroad, confirms Karunamoorthy

Ayngaran Karunamoorthy has confirmed that Vijay – AR Murugadoss’s Kaththi‘s Tamil version alone will be released in over 1000 screens in India and 500 screens abroad. He also refuted rumors that the film will release four days before Diwali and says it will release only on October 22nd as scheduled earlier. Meanwhile, the frantic wait for the trailer continues for fans. Sources say the team is likely to unveil the trailer only on the penultimate day of release.

However, a song promo, likely to be Selfie Pulla, will be released today to mark music composer Anirudh Ravichander’s birthday. Kaththi is slaetd for a grand release this Diwali and few theatres in Tamil Nadu have already started bookings for the film. Vishal’s Poojai will hit over 1100 screens (Telugu and Tamil combined), confirmed Vishal Film Factory’s official  Twitter handle.
