Gokul refutes rumors on Kashmora

There have been rife reports that Karthi’s next film Kashmora with director Gokul of Idharkuthaane Aasaipattai Balakumaraa fame is a horror flick. Gokul has refuted the reports and says Kashmora is a mix of several genres and it’s not a full-fledged horror film but has supernatural elements weaved into the storyline. “The film will go on the floors from February. The pre-production work has already started and we are finalizing the supporting cast,” adds Gokul.

Karthi will romance Nayanthara for the first time in Kashmora. He is likely to juggle between Kashmora and Vamsi Paidipally’s Tamil-Telugu bi-lingual where he shares screenspace with Shruti Haasan and Nagarjuna. Kashmora has music by Santhosh Narayanan.

Karthi has also signed Lingusamy’s untitled project (earlier titled as Yenni Ezhu Naal) where he stars with a newcomer.
