Karunakaran joins Radha Mohan’s ‘Uppu Karuvaadu’

We reported here that yesterday that Radha Mohan has begun his next film Uppu Karuvaadu. Radha Mohan is known for making heartwarming women-oriented films like Mozhi and Abhiyum Naanum. Mozhi is considered as Jyothika’s career-best performance by many and Abhiyum Naanum redefined Trisha’s career. Uppu Karuvaadu  is also said to be a women-centric film and Nandita of Attakathi fame plays the lead role.

Karunakaran, who was last seen in Rajinikanth’s Lingaa, also plays a significant role. The film will be shot in and around the important locales of Chennai including Besant Nagar, Tiruvanmiyur, and Adyar.  Choreographer Sathish of Unnale Unnale fame is also playing a supporting role. Uppu Karuvaadu is touted to a urban comedy entertainer and has music by debutant Steve.
