Karu to hit screens on February 23rd

Initially slated to hit screens on February 9th, director Vijay’s Karu has been now postponed to release on February 23rd.

The movie marks Premam sensation Sai Pallavi’s foray into the Tamil film industry. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, Karu is currently in the final stages of post-production. The movie revolves around the sensitive topic of abortion. Sai Pallavi plays a mother to a four-year-old daughter in the film, which is centered on mother-daughter bonding.

Nirav Shah has handled the cinematography for the film.
