Karthi’s Komban gears up for Pongal release
Karthi – Lakshmi Menon-starrer Komban directed by Muthiah of Kutti Puli fame is gearing up for Pongal release. Already, the trade is immensely worried about the clash of the titans – Ajith – Gautham Menon’s Yennai Arindhaal and Vikram – Shankar’s I for Pongal. Other two notable films lined up for Pongal include Aambala which is riding high on Vishal’s goodwill with producers and distributors and Kakki Sattai which is motivated by Sivakarthikeyan’s emerging market potential and reach.
Reliable trade sources confirm that Komban will not back out from the Pongal race and official paper ads will surface tomorrow. Karthi has started dubbing for the film. The audio launch is expected to happen this month. It has music by GV Prakash Kumar.
