Karthik Subbaraj opens up about Iraivi

Karthik Subbaraj has opened up about his upcoming multi-starrer Iraivi, which is currently under the post production stage. “Iraivi is about women, men and their priorities. It talks about women’s freedom, how men look at it and how women use it. It’s neither preachy nor is it about women’s empowerment,” says Karthik. 

“The film is based on the women we see around us and how certain things are no different, no matter what class or background they belong to,” he adds. Produced by Thirukumaran Entertainment, Iraivi stars  Vijay Sethupathi, SJ Suryah, Bobby Simha, Kamalini Mukherjee, Anjali and Pooja Devariya in important roles. Santhosh Narayanan’s album has already good appreciations from everyone.

Iraivi is all set to release worldwide from June 3rd.
