Karthi misses Biriyani

Karthi who is busy shooting for his upcoming film Komban in Paramakudi has flew down to Chennai. No, not to relish the sumptuous Ramzan biriyani today. Apparently, Karthi fainted on sets due to food poisoning and later admitted to Isabella Hospital (one where Rajinikanth was admitted when he was down after Rana shoot) in Chennai. All is well now, though.

“Dear friends! had to get admitted in hospital due to food poisoning.Now I am perfectly alright. Thanks for your prayers and support! Eid Mubarak! will be missing the Ramzan Biriyani this year!,” posted Karthi.

Komban is an upcoming village-based drama directed by Muthaiah of Kuttipuli fame. It has Lakshmi Menon playing the female lead and Rajkiran as her father. GV Prakash composes music.
