Kareena calms down Surya fans

It was reported that glamorous actress Kareena Kapoor would do an item-number in Surya’s upcoming film Anjaan directed by Lingusamy. Then she refuted the rumors going around and created a stir among Surya fans by saying, “I don’t know where such baseless stories come from. I haven’t signed any such film. I don’t even know who Surya and Lingusamy are. I’ve never seen them.”

This has irked the talented actor’s fans and they have been bickering over this on social media without a break. Now, Kareena Kapoor has finally clarified her misquoted statement on Surya saying “It is a fact that I’ve never met him. But that doesn’t mean I don’t know who Surya is. Of course I know him. He’s a big star in Tamil cinema, in fact one of the biggest. And I truly respect his standing in the Indian film industry. In fact I’m doing the sequel to ‘Singham’ the film where he played the lead originally in Tamil cinema.” Now, the glam queen has finally calmed down Surya fans and all is well. She has also expressed her willingness to act alongside the versatile actor if the latter agrees to act in a Hindi film.
