After raking loads of money by taking charge of the Hindi release of ‘Baahubali’ which grossed over 100 crores, Bollywood producer Karan Johar has now confirmed the remake of Mani Ratnam’s OK Kanmani, which will be bankrolled under his home banner, Dharma Creations.
Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor will be reprising the roles played by Dulquer Salmaan and Nitya Menon in the original. While Gulzar takes care of the lyrics, AR Rahman will be composing the music.
Mani Ratnam will be co-writing the screenplay for this film, which will be helmed by his associate Shaad Ali.
