Kangaroo – All set to run
Post Director Manivannan’s Nagaraja chozhan MA MLA, V House productions is all set to produce Kangaroo. Kangaroo is directed by Saami and National award winning art director Thottadharani has erected a huge street at Observate, Kodaikanal for this flick.
Speaking about this set director Saami said, “As all of us know Thottadharani is very famous for his huge and artist sets. He has erected so many such sets in Director Shankar’s films. After hearing kangaroo story he was so impressed and erected such huge and very creatively designed a street at Observate the highest peak on Kodaikkanal. Speciality of this street is we can view all important places in Kodaikkanal from the set. We are planning to show Thottadharani’s beautiful Art collections (in a drawing format) for entire 2 min title portion of Kangaroo”
Speaking about the movie, “My mother asked me to do a film as everybody in a family to sit and watch together. Not only fulfilling my mother’s desire, i will surely make all mothers in this world proud after watching Kangaroo. This the movie is going to be the greatest example of mother’s love”, adds Saami.
Arjuna, Varsha and Priyanka will be seen in the lead roles. Thambi Ramaiah, Kalabavan Mani, Kanja Karuppu are doing pivotal roles in the film. Also many other new faces are also introducing in this movie. Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu has penned all the songs for Kangaroo. For the first time Singer Srinivas composes music for a Tamil film. Rajarathinam who has done DOP for more than 35 films handles the camera. Suresh Kamatchi will be producing under the banner of V House Productions. The entire shoot of Kangaroo will take place in Ooty and Kodaikkanal for 35 days continuously from June 12th.
