Kamal sir and Mani sir are my biggest inspirations: Nani

At the Chennai press meet of Shyam Singha Roy which took place last night, Nani revealed that Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam are his biggest inspirations while growing up. The actor said that his dream is to be a part of a Mani Ratnam film, and he is waiting for the call though things have not materialized till now.

Shyam Singha Roy is set for a grand release on the 24th of December in four South Indian languages. The film is a thriller set in two different time periods, Nani plays roles of a film director and a freedom fighter.
