Kamal Haasan’s Sabaash Naidu, which is planned as a tri-lingual in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, was launched yesterday and the regular shooting will start in the United States from May 16th. Kamal Haasan will leave to the US on May 14th and he has confirmed that he will not be in India to cast his vote for the upcoming state assembly elections.
85% of the shooting will happen in the US till June and the team will come back to India in July to complete the remaining portions of the film. Jointly produced by Raaj Kamal Films International and Lyca Productions, Sabaash Naidu stars Shruti Haasan, Brahmanandham and Ramya Krishnan in important roles. Directed by TK Rajeev Kumar with story and screenplay by Kamal Haasan, the film also has Saurabh Shukla, Ananth Mahadevan, Bharath Dabholkar, Farida Jalal, Sidhique and Manu Narayanan as part of its supporting cast. The technical crew comprises of Ilaiyaraja for music, Jaya Krishnna Gummadi for cinematography and James Joseph for editing.
