Kamal Haasan’s request to Arvind Kejriwal

In his meeting with the Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Kamal Haasan put forward his request to ease the permission to conduct shoots in the national capital and foster film promotions in the territory. Kamal also discussed about providing swift clearances to facilitate hassle-free shooting experience for directors in the capital. The meeting between the two lasted for half an hour.

“It’s a job intensive industry and we want more shoots to happen in the capital. We are also planning a Film City and a separate body for the industry headed by professionals to make things easier for shoots to happen (here),” reads a statement from Arvind Kejriwal.
