Speculations are rife that popular cinematographer turned director Teja who is known for his blockbuster films in Telugu such as Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam will direct Kamal Haasan’s next. “I did meet Kamal sir recently but it’s too early to comment about what we discussed. I’ve always wished to direct him,” says Dharma Teja. The film will be a bi-lingual and will be made simultaneously in Telugu and Tamil.
Kamal’s last Telugu film was Eeenadu, a remake of super hit Hindi film, A Wednesday directed by Neeraj Pandey. Ulaganayagan is already busy with Uttama Villain, which is advancing at a rapid pace and the crew is all set to depart for the Australian schedule tomorrow. Would Kamal Haasan opt for Drishyam’s Tamil remake or give nod to Teja’s film?
