Kamal Haasan to resume Uttama Villain despite leg injury

Kamal Haasan sustained an injury while shooting for Uttama Villain in the city on Saturday. Later reports emerged that Ulaganaayagan was headed to Apollo Hospitals to consult the doctor and his presence in Vijay Awards was doubtful. However, Kamal Haasan put an end to speculations by appearing on stage when the prestigious Chevaliar Sivaji Ganesan Award was presented to Director Shankar. It is worth remembering that Prabhu had requested Kamal Haasan to bestow the honor every year to the winner along with his family to which the latter wholeheartedly agreed.

Kamal Haasan will also resume shooting for Uttama Villain despite the leg injury, which is apparently nothing but a muscle pull. Ramesh Arvind clarifies to a daily, “Kamal did not sustain the injury during a stunt or an action scene. He had a small muscle pull and has been advised a day’s rest.”
