Kamal Haasan opens up about Rajinikanth’s health condition

When Rajinikanth suffered exhaustion on the opening day shoot of Rana three years back and was subsequently admitted in Singapore’s The Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre following a brief treatment in Sri Ramachandra Hospital in Chennai, Kamal Haasan was one of the few close friends of Rajinikanth who was denied permision to meet him due to the stringent norms followed in the hospital. Now, in a recent interview to a magazine, Kamal Haasan has opened up about Rajinikanth’s health condition. 

“If Rajini’s health condition is not good, it’s not accidental. The sole role behind his poor health is Rajini himself. There’s no other reason. And, if he’s hale and hearty now, he is the sole reason behind that too. He is usually stubborn about few things. Now, it’s an achievement that he is acting in films for the good of his fans and himself,” says Kamal Haasan.
