“I have spent more days with KB than my dad”
Kamal Haasan, who returned from the US after finishing sound mixing work for Uttama Villain, paid a visit to his mentor K Balachander’s home and met the media outside for a brief talk. He once repeated that the film’s release is in the hands of the producer, Thirupathi Brothers, when asked about the tentative release date.
“No director has contributed as much as he has to Tamil cinema, in terms of finding and nurturing talents. I have spent more days with KB than my father. He is incomparable. He made films which made youngsters look in awe. K. Balachander is living inside all of us. It is important for us to continue his good work. I will try to keep his legacy going as his son,” said Kamal Haasan.
