Kamal Haasan joins the Pongal bandwagon
This Pongal appears to be a sumptuous treat for film buffs. The long-anticipated Vikram – Shankar’s magnum-opus I is releasing and so does Vishal and Sundar C’s commercial entertainer Aambala. To add more spice, GV Prakash’s horror comedy Darling is also releasing. Upping the festival delight, Simbu announced that the teaser of his upcoming film Idhu Namma Aalu will be unveiled for Pongal.
Even Venkat Prabhu has something in store for Pongal for Suriya’s Mass, possibly the first look teaser. The latest to join the Pongal bandwagon is Kamal Haasan’s gravely anticipated trailer of Uttama Villain. Directed by Ramesh Aravind and produced by Lingusamy’s Thirupathi Brothers, the story, screenplay and dialogues for the film has been written by Kamal Haasan. Ulaganayagan already has Papanasam and Vishwaroopam 2 under various stages of post-production. The trailer release of Uttama Villain will be one of the many releases for Kamal Haasan this year.
