Kamal Haasan hits back at TN ministers who criticized him

Kamal Hassan, who hinted about calling for some desperate measure in his tweets, has officially announced it today. He posted a letter on Twitter yesterday where he makes a call to brutally expose the corruption prevailing in the state.

“This call is not meant just for the members of our welfare association but also for the fans who are not part of the association and most importantly for the unbribable Tamil voters. Even after witnessing in the media, the foul cry of public on corruption, brother Jayakumar and bone specialist H Raja are asking me to join politics and bring proofs for the same. Intentionally or unintentionally my political presence started when I first raised my voice against Hindi imposition,” he said.

“It makes me furious as well as laugh at the people who publicly exchanged their righteousness for money and power make threats to take action against me for tax evasion. When the public itself can remind them of the level of corruption why I should play the middleman here? I call the people of TamilNadu to bring up the hassles they faced due to corruption in this government through the website or any convenient medium. Your messages to the concerned minister should be dignified, for them to realize that the people are well mannered than our incumbent ministers. Few lakhs of queries will be raised, we have to wait and see if the questioners are being arrested or given explanations. We don’t have enough cells here down south to accommodate lakhs of people I guess. When the public voice out the corruption in other areas, I will stand responsible for bringing out the venality in my film industry. The voices of those who have the nerve to be with me are enough to expose the government.
