Kamal Haasan’s suggestion for Drishyam producer

Malayalam film Drishyam, starring Mohanlal and Meena in lead roles, is this year’s most successful Indian film so far. Critics celebrated the film unanimously and audiences lapped it up with fervor. While the Tamil remake is still under discussion, the Telugu remake of the film is progressing at a brisk pace with Venkatesh reprising the role of Mohanlal and shares screen space with Meena.

But, neither producer Suresh Babu nor director Sri Priya picked Venkatesh to play the role of Mohanlal but Kamal Haasan. In a recent interview, producer of the film revealed what our Ulaganayagan told him, “If you are going to make this film in Telugu, then go with Venkatesh, he is the best.”
