Few months back, there were reports that Kamal Haasan will do a bi-lingual with cameraman-turned-director Dharma Teja from the Telugu film industry. Teja is known for his blockbuster films in Telugu such as Chitram, Nuvvu Nenu and Jayam. He also confirmed his meeting with Kamal Haasan back then for a possible collaboration. Now, Teja has opened up about the film in a daily.
Apparently, Kamal Haasan had few stories in mind and narrated them to Teja. The latter wanted to direct Ulaganayagan in an action story and Kamal came up with the same. “Kamal Haasan has created and enacted many characters exceedingly well. I can’t create any new character for him, so I requested him to come up his own story for the film,” reveals Teja. While Kamal Haasan is writing the screenplay for the film, Teja will pen the dialogues.
Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain and Vishwaroopam 2 are under post-production stage now and he is all set to begin shooting for Drishyam from July 15th. He plans to complete Drishyam by October and will move on Dharma Teja’s project, we hear.
