Kamal Haasan and Shruti Haasan clear the air on Gautami’s split

After a section of media fell bait for a fake press release doing rounds on the web in the name of Kamal Haasan’s official statement, he promptly took to his micro-blogging page to debunk rumors and clear the air. “Someone issuing a statement in my name at this point of time is reckless and uncultured. I do not intend to issue any statement right now,” said Kamal Haasan.

Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan has also issued a statement saying she will stand by her family no matter what. “Shruti has never commented on anyone’s personal life and their decisions. For her, what matters most is standing by, loving and respecting her family – her parents and her sister, no matter what,” said Shruti Haasan’s spokesperson.
