Kalaipuli wants choreographer Sridhar to direct films

Choreographer Sridhar is all set to don the greasepaint as the lead actor for Pokkiri Mannan directed by Ragow Madesh. It is produced by Ramesh Reddy for Srinidhi Films and Sridhar is paired with newcomer Spoorthi Suresh. The album composed by Indhravarman was launched yesterday in Kamala Theatre. The event was attended by actors Bharath, Arya, Kreshna, Shantanu, Mirchi Shiva, Ma. Ka. Anand and others.

Speaking at the event, Veteran producer Kalaipuli S. Dhanu said, “When I produced Prabhudheva’s VIP, I insisted him to get into direction soon. Though he wielded the megaphone after few years, he’s become one of the successful choreographer-turned-filmmakers in the country. I insist dance master Sridhar also to take the direction plunge soon. Pokkiri Mannan is named after Vijay’s blockbuster film Pokkiri and Rajinikanth’s superhit film Mannan. So, there can be no doubt about the film’s success.”
