Kalaignar Karunanidhi and Kamal Haasan come together for Vairamuthu

The ex-Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Kalaignar Karunanidhi and Kamal Haasan will share the podium for Vairamuthu on October 10th to release the lyricist’s collection of 40 short stories as a magazine. While the former is expected to unveil the magazine, the first copy will be received by Kamal Haasan.

“With the world becoming a market, the first thing that is sold off is the culture of a place. In the global gambling that is industrialisation, digitialisation and liberalisation, imported cultures get a breath of life but significant local values get destroyed.So, the undercurrent of these short stories is that we should save values that should not be lost,” says the multiple national award-winning lyricist when quizzed about the themes of his stories.
