Kakki Sattai was first prepared for Dhanush

Durai Senthilkumar, director of Ethirneechal fame, has revealed that Kakki Sattai was first prepared for Dhanush. Apparently, after the success of Ethineerchal, Dhanush had told Durai that they will work together again. Durai had narrated the story of Kakki Sattai during Aadukalam shooting.

“When I asked Dhanush whether we can do the film with Sivakarthikeyan, he wholeheartedly gave his consent. The story I prepared for Dhanush had shades of Aadukalam. Then, I changed few nuances in it to suit Sivakarthikeyan,” says Durai.

Kakki Sattai features Sri Divya as female lead. It is slated to hit screens on February 27th.
