Kajal Aggarwal follows Trisha, Amy Jackson
Kajal Aggarwal has joined Trisha and Amy Jackson to support the PETA campaign to make people aware about the torture animals are subjected to in circuses, especially kids. “I am happy to be associated with this cause. I truly believe that if all of us can make our kids aware of the kind of torture animals in circuses go through, we can work towards getting the Animal Welfare Board of India to ban using animals in circuses,” says Kajal.
“It was appalling to see the kind of confinements these animals were put in and the kind of torture they have to undergo in order to get a performance from them. Being an actor I know what it is like to perform and if it is not a natural thing, you are not supposed to do it. I am hoping that I can make a difference,” adds Kajal who is currently shooting in the city for Dhanush – Balaji Mohan’s Maari.
