Kaithi sprints past Rs 90 crores globally
Karthi’s Kaithi has quietly sprinted past the Rs 90 crores mark in worldwide theatrical revenue in 17 days of theatrical run. Despite significant competition from Bigil, the film almost earned as equally as the Vijay-starrer in its third weekend in Tamil Nadu.
Produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures and directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, Kaithi has touched the Rs 50 crores gross mark in TN and has become the second film of Karthi to attain the feat after Pandiraj’s Kadaikutty Singam last year.
