Kaithi marks Karthi’s first entry into the Rs 100 crore club
Solid word-of-mouth and reviews have made Karthi’s Kaithi a fantastic money-spinner at the worldwide box-office. The film has sailed past the Rs 100 crore mark in global ticket sales, making it the first ever project for Karthi to attain the feat.
In Tamil Nadu, Kaithi, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj and produced by SR Prabhu’s Dream Warrior Pictures, has touched Rs 50 crores, making it a similar blockbuster like Karthi’s family drama Kadaikutty Singam which released last year.
