Kabali triumphs all weekend records of Indian films overseas
Despite middling reviews, Superstar Rajinikanth’s Kabali has triumphed all weekend records of Indian films in overseas territories. The movie has reportedly collected a staggering $11 million over the three-day weekend in foreign locations, surpassing the Aamir Khan-starrer Dhoom 3‘s previous record of $10. 32 million.
Other overseas Indian film records including Sultan, Bajrangai Bhaijaan and Dilwale for the three-day weekend have also been smashed by Kabali comfortably. The film has also grossed a massive $4.05 million in the US/Canada, making it the second South Indian film after Baahubali to cross the $4 million mark.
