Kaatru Veliyidai slated for April 7th release
Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai is slated to hit screens on April 7th. Meanwhile, the much-awaited first single track composed by AR Rahman will be unveiled on February 2nd at the stroke of 12 AM midnight. The first glimpse of the film was released by Sony Music yesterday and the video is trending on top in YouTube with over 8 lakh views.
The first glimpse featured the voice of Shashaa Tirupati, who crooned for three lovely songs in Mani Ratnam’s last outing Ok Kanmani including Kaara Aattakkaara, Paranthu Sella Vaa and Naane Varugiren.
Produced by Madras Talkies and directed by Mani Ratnam, Kaatru Veliyidai features Karthi and Aditi Rao Hydari in the lead roles. The film will be released by Sri Thenandal Films in Tamil Nadu.
