New wave in Tamil cinema elates K. Balachander

One of the much-awaited events of this year, the eight edition of Vijay Awards, is all set to enthrall us on July 5th. Vijay Awards has been the go-to awards show for the audiences in Kollywood thanks to the high-profile celebrities they manage to rope in year after year. It was Shah Rukh Khan who made a rousing speech in the last year’s edition after winning the coveted Chevalier Sivaji Ganesan Award.
