Actor Ramesh learns to deal with ghosts for ‘Jithan 2’

Jithan directed by Vincent Selva provided a break to Ramesh, who was lingering through his career then. Though, the actor wasn’t seen regularly on screen. Now, he is back in action shooting for the sequel to Jithan titled ‘Jithan 2’. Touted to be a horror thriller, Vincent Selva has penned the screenplay for the sequel and will be directed by Rahul Paramahamsa.

“There’s a small thread that links the previous film to this one. Ramesh’s character enters a house, which is haunted by the spirit of the female lead Srishti’s character. Unlike other horror films, where the ghost seeks revenge, we’ve characterized the spirit in a different way,” says director Rahul. To prepare for the role, Ramesh underwent a 5-day workshop with a paranormal scientist in Malaysia to learn how to deal with ghosts mentally.
