Jilla creates record in trade!
The shoot of Nesan’s Jilla, starring Vijay, Mohanlal and Kajal Aggarwal in the lead, is progressing at brisk pace. The team is currently shooting for a song in Chennai, and will leave for Madurai soon. A source in the know says, “Vijay and Kajal returned from Japan after shooting for a song there. Now, the team is canning a few scenes and one more song in Chennai. After this, they will head to Madurai again, where a huge set is being erected. The talkie portions are almost over, and the entire shooting process will finish by the end of this month.” We hear that the dubbing work has also begun in the city. The source adds, “Mohanlal will be speaking his own lines, and is excited to be dubbing for himself. The CG work is also going on simultaneously and he team will launch the audio which has music by Imman, soon.”
Producer RB Chowdry had recently opened his territory wise sale for Jilla, and if reports are to be believed, all the areas were sold out in a very short span of time. No film in recent time has been sold out so fast, at a time when big films take time to get the right prices. If all goes well as planned, Jilla will hit the screens on Jan 10th or on Pongal day.
