Jiiva’s Kavalai Vendam to start rolling from Pongal
Jiiva’s long-pending Kavalai Vendam is likely to start rolling from Pongal. Keerthy Suresh was supposed to romance Jiiva in the film but she backed out due to date issues with the team and Kajal Aggarwal, who plays the role of a software professional, replaced her.
Jiiva is currently awaiting the release of Thirunaal, where he is paired opposite Nayanthara and Pokkiri Raja, where he is co-starred with Hansika and Sibiraj. Pokkiri Raja is one of the few films that have confirmed its intentions to release for Pongal.
Jiiva also has Gemini Ganesan with debutant director Muthukumar and a yet-untitled project with Fox Star Studios which will be directed by Ike, a former assistant of Kamal Haasan.
